When asked what inspired him for the fal 2010 collection he responded:

"I was thinking of uniforms and cadet girls—but it all started when I looked at an aviator jacket in the archive. Then, as I started designing into it, I realized it could be as versatile as the trench—strong and sexy, masculine and feminine." Christopher Bailey

Alexander McQueen

"Clothes and jewellery should be startling, individual. When you see a woman in my clothes, you want to know more about them. To me, that is what distinguishes good designers from bad designers. "Alexander McQueen

Marc Jacobs

"I'd like to believe that the women who wear my clothes are not dressing for other people, that they're wearing what they like and what suits them. It's not a status thing." Marc Jacobs

Runway Shows

Chloe Resort 2011

This look is called minimalist. It consists of camel, nude, beige colors. I find this trend to be very soft and lady like. This is something I see myself wearing. It wasn't a big drastic change from fall because it still incorporates it in spring.

Pre fall 2010

For fall I've been seeing a lot of menswear and outwear. There is a lot of tailoring involved. with this trend, although it's menswear it is still lady lake and a bit more polished.

I would say that this is one of my favorite trends. Military mixed with lace. I'm fascinated by the colors. the styling that goes with the trend is impeccable, everything flows together and creates a bold, easy look. A few A-list celebrities such as Sarah Jessica Parker have been spotted wearing this trend out in the streets or appearances. I can tell that this trend will last a while.

Trend Setters

RACHEL ZOE
Rachel Zoe is a trendsetter in the sense that she really has her own style. She doesn't really go with the flow or wear what everyone is wearing. Rachel is also coming up with an affordable clothing brand. We don't know when exactly she will launch this project but i heard its coming soon. I'm looking forward to her accessories because that's what i notice the most in her show. Rachel is an amazing stylist who has been in the industry for years, as a stylist you have to also present yourself as a trendsetter and i believe that Rachel does portray that.

Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad is an excellent example of a trendsetter. We have all been watching her since her own show The Hills. The fashionista showed us her own style and lifestyle in the show. Although the show is over and done with, she is still working hard on her label. This fahionista has her own clothing line and has a few book out. her clothing line portrays her style and what she actually would wear. i feel like this girl has always had good publicity so when you see her in magazines she is always in the best dressed, get her style, who wore it best section.

Wacky Bands!!!!

Wacky/Silly Bands!!!!!!!!!!!

Wacky bands are silicone rubber band bracelets that come in various shapes.(http://www.wackyshapes.com/). I have been seeing these wacky bands everywhere. All different kinds of age groups play around with these wacky bands. You can use them as bracelets and they will go back to its original shape and design when you take them off. A popular thing to do is trade wacky bands with someone else that has them on. People have started collecting them by trading. All my co-workers call them "bumpits", we bump wrists then trade. Its silly but at the same time kinda fun. So go get yourselves some wacky bands and continue this trend!!! (soon too be fad)
